Одноместный боевой модуль 'Кливер' предназначен для оснащения широкой гаммы легких боевых машин типа БМП, БТР, для установки на малых боевых кораблях, а также использоваться в качестве стационарного.

В состав боекомплекта вооружения входит 4 ракеты для пусковой установки ПТУР, 300 выстрелов для 30-мм автоматической пушки, 200 патронов для 7,62-мм пулемета.
Вооружение и автоматизированная всесуточная система управления огнем позволяют вести эффективную стрельбу всеми видами вооружения с места, в движении и на плаву по наземным и надводным целям, обнаружение и распознавание целей днем и ночью, прицеливание и измерение дальности, вычисление установок на стрельбу, разворот вооружения в сторону цели, стрельбу по воздушным целям, контроль состояния системы управления огнем.

Свои возможности боевой модуль "Кливер", установленный на БМП-1, продемонстрировал на международной выставке вооружений и военной техники в Абу-Даби IDEX-99.
Конструктивные особенности
Одноместный боевой модуль "Кливер" представляет собой башню с установкой для четырех противотанковых управляемых ракет (ПТУР) "Корнет", 30-миллиметровой пушкой, пулеметом и рабочим местом оператора. Его низкое расположение в корпусе машины предполагает лучшую защищенность при обстреле противником.
Установка с ПТУР третьего поколения смонтирована на общей оси с пушечно-пулеметным блоком. Ракеты двух вариантов предназначены: первый - для поражения современных танков с динамической или комбинированной защитой, второй - для поражения полевых укреплений, бункеров, легкобронированной техники. Ракеты с 10 летней гарантией оснащены лазерной системой наведения, автоматически удерживающей их на линии прицеливания после спуска. В течение гарантийного срока ракета сохраняет готовность к применению без дополнительного обслуживания. После производства выстрела смена контейнера осуществляется в течение нескольких секунд.
"Кливер", как изделие окончательной готовности, может устанавливаться вместо башни на БМП и любое другое шасси или катер в ремонтных организациях заказчика практически без доработки базы.
